Clinical Laboratory

Spring Valley Pediatrics has an in-office laboratory providing a wide variety of laboratory testing as well as specimen collection for samples sent to reference labs. The lab is accredited as a “Moderate Complexity Laboratory” by the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation.

Accreditation is given only to laboratories that apply rigid standards of quality in day-to-day operations, demonstrate continued accuracy in the performance of proficiency testing, and pass a rigorous on-site laboratory survey every two years. The lab has an experienced staff of Medical Technologists and a phlebotomist who have a combined experience of more than 50 years.
